what i really want to do with my life

I just want to collect degrees. I just want to get my Political science major over with and get my college degree, then my J.D,then a masters in english, and then my Ph.D. in poetry and maybe international relations and political science and become a professor for something or other and wear regular clothes and sunglasses and eat blueberry muffins and just read more books and drink tea and that’s all I really want to do with my life

And so convenient. Not only is it a container full of condoms, but it’s also a fishbowl

So when I’m not having sex but would like to have a fish I could empty it out and put a fish in it

It’s sort of a bucket list kinda thing. I decided that I will become a tattoo artist and tattoo whatever the hell people want on their body. 

Because I want to and my soul sort of needs to. Whether it’s for a day or a week or a year, I will.

I want to see the day that I can walk into a bookstore and see my name on a shelf.

No matter what style of writing I choose to continue, there’s no harm in being a visionary. If my mother wasn’t a visionary, this one would’ve never left the journals hidden in the underbelly of my room. If I can do that at 17, I can make this another life goal. Glasses is a representation of how my writing style has changed from back when I was 12, a time of immaturity and exposure, to now, a time of refocus. It’s a simple debut. It’s poetry.

There’s no harm in being a visionary. I am a muralist after all.

Second day at work

and I pretended my name was Lisa.

I also had to call the cops. 

I listened to a lady talk about her 8 years of being abused. 

And on the way to the bank, I saw a prostitute my age with a kid. 

I know it’s only Downtown Sacramento, but man.

Hence, why my name was Lisa.
